Resolved Question: Can anyone explain to me how those debt-reduction companies work?

Remember Enron, Whitewater, Watergate, Keating 5, S&L disaster and bailout, promises to stop pork barrel earmarks and lobbyist influence, media consolidation and FCC corruption, lame excuses for going to war, Bin Laden living large in Pakistan, outrageous national debt, the latest mortgage banking bubble and bailout, and what about that Great Depression!

And which candidate from the Dems and Reps country club you gonna vote for to make the booboo go away this time? I'd rather have a lottery and hope God and good luck helps us. Bogus choices to man a screwed up system designed to enrich the Fat Cats and keep them in charge. But we have a tiny attention span and refuse to study our history lessons.

I do believe we have a thinking problem.

Voting Question: how do I find a reputable debt solution/consolidation company to help me without declaring bankruptcy?

Resolved Question: How to get out of secured debt?

I want to pay the debt that I owe because I was the dumb a$$ who did it, but I was wondering if anyone could help answer this? Most of my debt is secured so I can't get help with debt consolidation for lower rates or anything. I know that I need to make more than the minium payment, but I'm having trouble just paying that! Does any one have any sugestions?

Resolved Question: Debt Consolidation Loans?

I was wondering if anyone knows which companies offer the best debt consolidation loans. I would like to consolidate my credit cards and my vehicle loan if possible. I have done some research online but have only found a few companies that offer debt consolidation loans and I am not sure who would be best to go with. I am not behind on my payments and do not need credit counseling debt management. I do have a lot of debt though and would like to consolidate into one monthly payment to help save interest and to save a little money each month.

Resolved Question: Can anyone explain to me how those debt-reduction companies work?

I'm about 10,000 dollars in debt, and despite trying, I am unable to crawl out of this hole. I do make more than my required payment on time monthly, only have debt on three credit cards, but my debt stays the same. I was thinking of one of those debt consolidation companies I see advertised on TV all the time, but someone told me they are a bad deal. Can anyone tell me how they work and why they are a bad deal?
