Open Question: How do you handle the anxiety of the weight of debt?

I owe about $50,000 + and I can’t afford to pay it back, I have very poor credit at this moment and my husband has excellent credit. We don’t have anything joint, not even the cars or house. Everything is under his name; we don’t even use the same bank. I called a debt consolidation program but they say I not making enough to cover the minimum payment that would be required. I don’t know where to go from here does anyone have some good advise to give me?

I have 2 credit cards , an attorney to finnish paying, and child support back pay (which wasnt my fault) that I owe money to and it seems over whelming. It wasnt a problem before when I had a great paying job. At times I feel happy till I remmeber what I have to do about my bills. How do you cope and go on with evryday life without feeling so weighed down and depressed about these impending bills that seem to pile up and snow ball? How do u stay happy? Is there anything I can do to take care of them (besides working)? I was either thinking of debt consolidation or Country Wide.
